At the end of the class, you’ll be able to:

  • Locate high-quality clinical literature using PubMed’s Clinical Queries feature.
  • Quickly locate specific journal articles using  Single Citation Matcher .
  • Use MyNCBI to save searches, article collections, and create a bibliography.
  • Develop complex search strategies using combinations of keywords and Medical Subject Headings (MeSH)

You should have some experience searching PubMed and basic knowledge of the journal literature. Please set up your MyNCBI account prior to taking this course. We will send out brief video tutorial to those enrolled in class to assist with account setup.
