Introduction to 3D Scanning

Introduction to 3D Scanning In-Person

Makers Lab Logo

Did you know there is a Makers Lab in the UCSF Library, with a 3D scanner? Are you curious about the applications for 3D scanning and 3D printing at UCSF?

Join Library staff for a 60-minute pop-up covering the basics of 3D scanning using the Matter and Form 3D scanner and the Structure Sensor. Stick around after the pop-up and put your learning to practice while the Makers Lab is open.

Never used a 3D scanner before? This is the perfect pop-up for you. Remember, the Makers Lab is a work-in-progress and we welcome your suggestions for improving the space!

Have questions about the Makers Lab? Visit the Makers Lab website or email us at makerslab@ucsf.edu with questions. This pop-up is open to the UCSF community.

When you register for a pop-up, the Library reserves space for you. Since many of our pop-ups have a waitlist, please cancel your registration if you can no longer attend.
