Bay Area Open Science Group - Teaching Open and Reproducible Scholarship

Note special 9am time for this month!

Description: This month, the Bay Area Open Science Group will be facilitating a journal club discussion focused on the recent paper, “Teaching open and reproducible scholarship: a critical review of the evidence base for current pedagogical methods and their outcomes” (https://doi.org/10.1098/rsos.221255). The article is attached for you to read prior to the meeting. Join us to discuss teaching open and transparent research practices. We will also be sharing a few exciting community updates during the meetup!

The Bay Area Open Science Group is intended to bring together students, faculty, and staff from the Stanford, UCSF, and Berkeley community to learn about open science, discuss the application of open science practices in a research context, and meet other members of the community who are interested in (or already are) incorporating open science practices into their work. Learn more about the group and connect with us on our website.
