Document Analysis using Google Cloud Online

This workshop will be offered on-line over Zoom. All registered participants will recieve a Zoom link after registrations close, typically 24 hours prior to the start of the workshop.

NOTE: Please register for this workshop using your UC or other university email address, if you have one.

Google Cloud and AutoML offer a wide variety of tools for data analysis, including python workbooks, SQL, machine learning, document classification, OCR (text extraction), translation, sentiment analysis, and more.

In this workshop, we'll review how to access and use these services using Google Colab, BigQuery, and AutoML.

Prerequisites: To fully participate in the workshop exercises, you'll need SQL and Python knowledge at the level of the DSI intro workshop series. However, feel free to enroll if you'd like to learn more about Google Cloud services without these prerequisites.
