SUMMARY:Machine Learning with Python and Scikit-Learn
DESCRIPTION:This workshop will be offered on-line over Zoom. All registered 
 participants will recieve a Zoom link after registrations close\, typically 
 24 hours prior to the start of the workshop. \n\nNOTE: Please register for 
 this workshop using your UC or other university email address\, if you have 
 one.  \n\nOverview\n\nThis workshop will provide a review of basic machine 
 learning concepts\, and will introduce Python and scikit-learn tools for 
 machine learning. Empahsis will be on the programming work involved in 
 preparing data\, populating and building a ML model using scikit-learn 
 libraries\, and reading results. \n\nThis workshop will take place online 
 over UCSF Zoom. Registered participants will recieve an email through 
 LibCal with connection information the day before the 
 workshop.\n\nMaterials\n\nWorkshop materials are on the 
 CLE.\n\nPrerequisites\n\nFamiliarity with Python.\n\nInstructors 
 \n\nGeoffrey Boushey with the UCSF Library Data Science Initiative\n\n 
 \n\nDigital Humanities Sequence\n\nThis sequence is designed for people 
 with no prior programming experience. The workshops start with core python 
 and sql before moving into more advanced or specialized topics in digital 
 humanities\, with an emphasis on text analysis and machine learning. 
 \n\nYou are welcome to take any of these workshops without attending the 
 entire series. No formal pre-reqs are enforced\, but if you are new to 
 Python or SQL\, you’ll get the core programming skills necessary for the 
 later workshops by attending Intro to Python Part 1 and Part 2 along with
