SUMMARY:Sharing\, Versioning\, and Collaborating with Git and Github
DESCRIPTION:NOTE: This event is availble to all University of California 
 and Cal State affiliates and ADHHI scholars. Please register using your 
 university email address if you have one. \n\nThis workshop will introduce 
 Git and GitHub\, two widely used tools for archiving\, versioning\, and 
 collaborating on code and other documents. \n\nThe session will cover how 
 to use Git and GitHub for version control\, including creating 
 repositories\, committing changes\, and tagging releases. You’ll also 
 explore how GitHub can be used to share your projects\, collaborate with 
 other developers\, and create tutorials and simple web sites to present 
 your work. \n\nThis workshop will not use Unix to interact with Git and 
 does not have any prerequisites. Instead\, we will use the GitHub web 
 interface and focus primarily on how to create a repository and portfolio 
 for sharing and presenting your work\, including code created with Jupyter 
 Notebook. \n\nNote - The UC carpentry workshop series (back in October) 
 offered a session on Git and Github using Unix. If you missed the software
