AI in Action: Practical Strategies for Teaching and Learning Online

Teaching and Learning Symposium: Centering Students, Embracing Innovation and Change

September 9–11, 2025 · Virtual Event

This interactive session will showcase practical demonstrations of AI in educational contexts. Participants will see four to five live examples of how AI can support teaching and learning objectives, such as designing rubrics aligned to learning outcomes, brainstorming assessment strategies, generating student self-quizzing activities, and creating case studies. Alongside these demonstrations, the session will provide a foundational understanding of AI’s role in pedagogy and share a prompt library that can be used with UCSF’s Versa platform.
