About the series

A Slower Introduction to R is a 7-session workshop series on R, focusing on common data-related tasks. Each session will involve short presentations interspersed with hands-on exercises.

We do not assume any prior experience with R or programming.

The website for the workshop series, which includes slides and other course material, is here.

About the instructor

The instructor, Yea-Hung Chen, PhD, MS, has more than 10 years of experience teaching R to the UCSF community. He designed and taught UCSF's first-ever R course (Biostat 213) and taught the introductory biostatistics course for UCSF's MS in Global Health program (GHS 207).
