 notation\n	object classes\n\n\nThis is the second session in the A Slower 
 Introduction to R workshop series.\n\nRegistration and reminders\n\nPlease

 series\n\nA Slower Introduction to R is a 7-session workshop series on R\, 
 focusing on common data-related tasks. Each session will involve short 
 presentations interspersed with hands-on exercises.\n\nWe do not assume any 
 prior experience with R or programming. \n\nThe website for the workshop 
 series\, which includes slides and other course material\, is 
 here.\n\nAbout the instructor\n\nThe instructor\, Yea-Hung Chen\, PhD\, 
 MS\, has more than 10 years of experience teaching R to the UCSF community. 
 He designed and taught UCSF's first-ever R course (Biostat 213) and taught 
 the introductory biostatistics course for UCSF's MS in Global Health
