Beading Pop-Up in the Makers Lab In-Person
Russian Spiral Beading is an easy beading stitch akin to Peyote stitch, which results in a wonderfully sinuous twisted rope of beads.
In this session, we’ll get participants started (far and away the hardest part!) on a bracelet, practice the basic stitch, and demonstrate the proper way to add more thread to a beading project, and how to fasten on a clasp. The latter two techniques translate well to other beading designs, as well.
There won’t be time to finish a bracelet during the session, but participants will go away with all the materials, instructions, and knowledge needed to finish their bracelet later.
