Makers Lab 3D Printing Club

Makers Lab 3D Printing Club In-Person

Makers Lab Logo

This month's topic is "using 3D printing for more than just printing" with stereolithography (SLA) by Formlabs. By using 3D printers alongside other fabrication techniques, it's possible to greatly expand the range of objects you're able to make. Formlabs will present new ways to use 3D printing with processes like molding and casting, and will cover interesting new materials as well, like 3D printed ceramic.

Join us every other month in the Makers Lab as we discuss the state of 3D printing at UCSF and explore applications for education, research, and clinical care. Feel free to bring empty filament spools or failed PLA 3D prints that we can use to recycle into new filament.
