Basic Statistics With R
In this workshop, we will use R to perform some common statistical analyses. Although this is not an introduction to R programming or statistics, this workshop is ideal for those who are just starting to use R for data analysis.
By the end of the workshop, participants should:
1. Know how to do descriptive plots and univariate statistics
2. Know how to do bivariable association tests, such as t-tests, chi-square, and correlations
3. Know how to run multivariable regression models for continuous, binary, and survival outcomes
A basic understanding of R is required for this class. This is not an introduction to R programming. If you've taken Intro to R, the R Software Carpentry workshop, or equivalent, you should meet the requirements.
This course uses R and RStudio. Please have these installed on your laptop prior to the workshop.
