Introduction to 3D Scanning In-Person
Are you curious about applications for 3D scanning at UCSF?
Join Library staff for a 60-minute pop-up covering the basics of 3D scanning using the Matter and Form 3D scanner. Stick around after the pop-up and put your learning to practice while the Makers Lab is open.
Never used a 3D scanner before? This is the perfect pop-up for you.
After attending the 60-minute pop-up you will be able to:
- Select the best 3D scanner for a given project
- 3D scan an object using the Matter & Form
- Clean models using the +Quickscan software and export for 3D printing
Have questions about the Makers Lab? Visit the Makers Lab website or email us at makerslab@ucsf.edu with questions. This pop-up is open to the UCSF community.
When you register for a pop-up, the Library reserves space for you. Since many of our pop-ups have a waitlist, please cancel your registration if you can no longer attend.
