7-Minute Stories is an open mic storytelling event. Storytellers each have 7 minutes to tell a story.

Register below to listen and have lunch (provided). If you're inspired during the event, sign up for a spot to tell a story. We'll have a storyteller sign-up list ready and will proceed in the order in which people sign up. This is a UCSF-only event. Bring your UCSF IDs!

For interested storytellers:

• You can tell a story about anything, from your life story to what you saw on the bus last week (as long as it follows the Library conduct policy and respects patient privacy).  
• No experience necessary. 
• Sign up to be a storyteller on the day of the event. Look for a sign-up sheet at the welcome table. You'll have 7 minutes to tell your story.
  • We'll try to get to as many storytellers as possible before the event ends at 1:30pm. However, we might run out of time before we get to your name. If that's the case, we'll let you know first if we host this event again.
