Intro to Open Science In-Person
Using a research reproducibility framework, this session will focus on how to practice open science at each stage of the research process. Learn how to identify open access journals, negotiate OA fees, register protocols, and share your manuscripts & data - before and after publication.
At the end of this session, attendees will be able to:
- List guidelines for ensuring reproducible research
- Identify tools to discover and evaluate open access journals in your field
- Compare open science tools to share your manuscripts and data before and after publication
- Perform open research using available tools at each stage of the research process
