Makers Lab 101 (via Zoom) In-Person
NOTE: The Makers Lab is closed until further notice as part of UCSF efforts to limit the potential of COVID-19 spreading within our local community. This pop-up will be held online using Zoom. A link to the Zoom session will be sent to you the day before the pop-up.
Have you heard about the Makers Lab in the UCSF Library?
The Makers Lab is UCSF’s makerspace, or a creative, DIY space, where anyone from the UCSF community can gather to make, invent, tinker, and learn. During the 60-minute pop-up, Makers Lab staff will provide an introduction to the space, technology, and supplies.
Never been to a makerspace or used any of the equipment before? This is the perfect pop-up for you! The Makers Lab 101 pop-up is designed to provide an introduction to the Makers Lab and an understanding of what is possible to create using the technology and supplies available.
After attending the 60-minute pop-up, you will be able to:
- Reserve Makers Lab equipment
- List the Makers Lab agreements
- Locate support resources for your projects
- Describe the role of making in the health sciences
Have questions about the Makers Lab? Visit the Makers Lab website or email makerslab@ucsf.edu. All Makers Lab pop-ups are open to the UCSF community.
When you register for a pop-up, the Library reserves space for you. Since many of our pop-ups have a waitlist, please cancel your registration if you can no longer attend.
