De-stress, Reflect, and Create through Visual Journaling

De-stress, Reflect, and Create through Visual Journaling Online

Makers Lab Logo

Join Makers Lab staff for a creative break and create your own visual journal. Perceived artistic talent not required!

Visual journaling is a medium for capturing your memories that incorporates drawing, collage, text, and more. Even though we have spent more time at home in the last year, we can start our visual journals reflecting on past experiences and travels. Makers Lab staff will introduce the visual journaling medium and will walk through the basics for starting your own visual journal.

We will meet again two weeks later to share our journals with the group. Make sure to also register for the Visual Journaling Follow-Up on May 25.

Since the Makers Lab is closed, we are unable to provide supplies for the pop-up. Please have any size notebook or journal; assorted pens, pencils, and markers; sources of visual images (e.g. magazines, newspapers, photographs, etc.); glue or tape; scissors; anything else that sparks your creativity (e.g., yarn, fabric, etc.). Upcycling is encouraged!

Register below to receive the Zoom link and password.

If you are a DPH employee, please contact the Makers Lab to register for this pop-up.

Have questions about the Makers Lab? Visit the Makers Lab website or contact us. All Makers Lab pop-ups are open to the UCSF community and are currently offered via Zoom. The Makers Lab is closed until further notice as part of UCSF efforts to limit the potential of COVID-19 spreading within our local community.
