Introduction to ggplot2 with R
This is a hands-on workshop that covers how to use ggplot2 for common visualizations using the R programming language. It is not an introductory R programming workshop. See prerequisities below.
In this workshop you will see how to use ggplot2 for:
- describing single variables and plotting simple relationships (e.g. scatterplots)
- visualizing more complex relationships and model results (e.g. heatmaps with clustering)
- creating and exporting publication-quality graphs
Basic R programming skills, such as how to install packages, load data into R, read help files, and use basic functions. Please also have the software installed prior to the workshop (see below).
Workshop materials will be available online by the time of the workshop.
An email reminder will be sent 2 hours in advance of the workshop with the Zoom link. School of Medicine's Zoom Guide for Participants.
