Did you know there's an association between buying beer and buying diapers at Walmart? You might've heard of this data science folklore, but did you know that the technique that generated this "insight" was Association Rules Mining?
The topic of our first DSI Book Club discussion will be Association Rules Mining! We'll discuss the types of data this technique can be applied to and brainstorm/explore possible applications of Association Rules Mining in medicine.
