Managing Your Online Presence & Increasing Your Impact Online
Researchers need to assess the impact of their research in preparation for job and grant applications, promotion and tenure, finding out who is citing their work, and demonstrating productivity and influence on clinical practice, policy, research, and more.
This class will introduce resources and strategies for promoting your scholarship, increasing the reach and impact of your work, and monitoring the attention your work receives. You’ll learn about research impact metrics and qualitative impact approaches, tools for optimizing your online scholarly profiles, and how to plan for putting together an impact portfolio.
This class will focus on individual research impact and is open to all UCSF students, staff, and faculty.
