Library Recording Studio

Description

The Library Recording Studio is dedicated to empowering faculty, students, and staff who are building instructional content for academic program courses by providing access to professional tools and expert guidance. ​

If you are creating content for academic courses and you are interested in using the studio, please email techinnovations@ucsf.edu to share details about your project. We will help you develop a plan, assist with studio reservations, and assist you during the recording process.

Studio equipment includes:

  • Height-adjustable podium equipped with a Mac mini, a Wacom tablet monitor for digital annotation, and Ink2Go
  • iMac for audio recording and video editing applications, including Camtasia, Hindenburg, Adobe CC, DaVinci Resolve and Audacity
  • Teleprompter
  • Small table and chairs
  • Sound-dampening panels
  • Grey paper roll background
  • Shotgun microphones
  • LED light panels, RGB color
  • Controller PC, Blackmagic
  • Yamaha audio mixer
  • ATEM video switcher
